CSTL and Keyspan present LI Global Warming Summit

On Saturday, September 29, 2007, the Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) will be hosting the Long Island Global Warming Summit at Farmingdale State College. The Island's first and only event that focuses on what families can do to stop global warming, the Summit will feature:

Kid's Activities

Come to the Kids Energy Activity Area. This area features interesting artifacts, exhibits, and experiments your child can try such as competing in solar car races and building wind-power devices!  Everyone will enjoy this fun activity station while learning about energy.

An Inconvenient Truth (limited seating available). An Inconvenient Truth, which offers a passionate and inspirational look at Al Gore’s fervent crusade to halt global warming's deadly progress in its tracks by exposing the myths and misconceptions that surround it.   (Additional $2/person for movie)
